Camara has served as the physical trainer and therapist for multiple members of the San Jose Fire Department, the San Jose State Ice Skating Team and is the official therapist for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s “Team in Training.” He has been honored with the United States Army “Commander’s Coin” for helping soldiers recover from war injuries sustained in active duty.
Camara was trained as an emergency medical technician then pursued additional training in Active Release Technique through New York Chiropractic College, Body Bio-mechanics at the Pettibon Institute and Scoliosis Correction at Clear Institute in Texas. In addition, he traveled abroad for technical training and certification for External Counter Pulsation (ECP) therapy as well as new generation TMJ therapy devices.
He utilizes a large variety of methods to address injuries and re-establishing proper function of the body. He enhances athletic performance for elite and Olympic-level athletes through addressing sports injuries and body biomechanics. In addition, he helps improve athletic performance through fast-twitch muscle training, which stimulates the nervous system and increases the speed at which muscles respond.
