What to know about exercise and how to start

I was doing some reading online about one of my favorite topics and wanted to share a pretty informative article with you all about engaging in regular exercise. It's a great way to enhance both your physical and mental health!

Exercise comes in many forms, from light activity to high-intensity workouts, and provides a wide range of benefits for the body and mind. Three main types of exercise are aerobic, anaerobic, and agility training, each with its unique advantages.

Aerobic exercise improves how the body uses oxygen, strengthens muscles in the lungs, heart, and entire body, increases lifespan, and lowers the risk of diseases such as diabetes, stroke, and cardiovascular disease (CVD).

Meanwhile, anaerobic exercise helps build power, strength, and muscle mass.

Agility training aims to improve a person's ability to maintain control while speeding up, slowing down, and changing direction.

By not exercising, people may face an increased risk of several health problems such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and osteoporosis.

And is super easy to incorporate exercise into everyday life by swapping car rides with walking or cycling, using stairs instead of elevators, or engaging in other activities you enjoy!
